SouthSoundPiano is conveniently located in Burien, near Arbor Lake Park. The beautiful lake scenery, city park area and studio space offer a remote, private, yet academic experience to learning piano. The spacious studio is an open and comfortable oasis for students to engage in learning piano.
Students range in age from young children to grandparents looking to enrich their lives. All are able to achieve high musicianship standards and discover their true potential as they grow into skilled pianists. Students receive a structured curriculum with several opportunities to perform and compete locally. Lessons include repertoire, theory, technique, history and ear training. Our students are encouraged to perform in recitals, masterclasses, competitions and music festivals. Our students have been winners in such competitions as the Seattle International Piano Festival’s Bach Festival and have received distinguished honors in Adjudications sponsored through WSMTA.
